The The Story of Enigma is a marriage of the styles of the two owners, Nas and Adita. Nas hails from Brazil, a self-taught chef who perfected his skills in South American, Continental and Italian cuisine. His wife Adita brings generations of Cuban table specialties into the mix of enigmatic, unique cuisine.
The menu includes such specialties as Seafood Paella, Cuban Skirt Steak, Hazelnut Grouper and Havana-style Snapper. Fresh local fish is offered with a classic Lechon Asado, Cuban Pork Chop and Pasta dishes, as well fine Chicken and Veal fare, Cuban appetizers and a luxurious caramel flan.
The Emphatic Brilliance is the way strong flavors, subtle spices and delicate sauces interact with classical Cuban cooking methods. Char-grilled meats bring out the aroma and delicacy of the spice, blending its elements into a cacophany of flavors.
From start to finish, delicate plantains and conch fritters, yucca croquettes and coconut shrimp are a hint of the range of tastes to expect. Soups and stews excite the palate with the taste of home and feelings of warmth. Classically-interpreted desserts and coffees finish the meal with a resounding finish.
